Comment: Torrey
Pines is a fantastic beach for families, for surfing, or just for
walking. It's a nice change of pace from the more urban beaches like
Pacific Beach or Mission Beach, as there are only cliffs on the inland
side of the beach, no buildings.
When
I lived closer to it I used to come here to walk several times a week,
and if you want to go a few miles you can walk all the way up to Del
Mar - as long as the tide isn't too high! You can also walk all the
way down to Blacks Beach with the glider port above, or even La Jolla
Shores.
I
didn't make it all the way to La Jolla Shores too often, it's pretty
far. It's also nice to walk the beautiful trails above Torrey Pines
on the cliffs. There is a guided nature walk there on weekend mornings.
We
are always adding new places and attractions, so check back often.
