The
Palomar Observatory is found on top of Mount Palomar in Northeast
San Diego County. Owned by the California Institute of Technology.
Mount Palomar has been a world class astornomy research facility for
over fifty years.
The Observatory is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Handicapped access
is granted at the 200-inch dome at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm, & 3:45 pm.
