Fijis on Stage Classic Surf Boards

There were over 40,000 people present for this year's Machado Surf Classic and Beach Fair. The surf event was run by world renowned professional surfer Linda Benson.

There were 24 divisions with a special Menehune division for children 12 and under and a “King and Queen” of the Reef. The surfing triathilon featured Shortboard, Longboard and Paddle races.

The beach fair featured a food court, beer garden, and live music stage. One of our favorite local bands, “The Fijis” performed. Polynesian dancers, a museum of classic surf boards and tons of vendors featuring surf art and surf related products rounded out a fun-filled weekend.
