Located next to Scripps Park, La Jolla cove is a fantastic place to bring the entire family. With a normally calm and protected cove, and water with excellent visibility no wonder this is one of San Diego’s most popular place to visit.

La Jolla Cove is also a very popular staging point for scuba divers to begin their exploration of the La Jolla Marine Sanctuary. You will also see many swimmers swim from the cove to buoys located 2.5 and 5 miles from the cove.

The Cove has white sandy beaches perfect for kicking back and soaking up the great San Diego sun! Make sure you arrive early though, because the beach usually fills up and becomes crowded pretty early in the day.

There is a lifeguard on premises daily, usually from around 9:00 am until Dusk.

.

Location: 1100 Coast Boulevard, La Jolla, CA 92037.
