The
Del Mar beach front features a grassy park, community center with
showers and restrooms and two waterfront restaurants. The restaurants
provide lighting for the waves after sunset which makes this beach
a
romantic stop in the evening.
Beach access is free to the public with public rest rooms located
behind 17th Street and 25th Street lifeguard towers.
Location:
From the north, take I-5 south and exit at Villa de la Valle. From
the south, take I-5 north to Del Mar Heights Road.
